Sorry for the joke earlier, but .....Stratosphere is at the end of the strip, if you're going and you don't have a lot of money, it's the hotel that is economically the better choice. It isn't an ideal place for someone in their 20s...I don't care what anybody else says. From what you're asking, you want a hotel in a good location, that attracts a younger crowd, but that is affordable. Stratosphere isn't the place for that
Popular Hotels (on the Strip)
Luxor
Mirage
MGM
Excalibur
Treasure Island
Luxor, Excalibur have a walkway that connects the hotels. Luxor has Mandalay Place that connects it to the actual hotel.
The rates of the hotels is higher for the weekends. You have to ask yourself, how much can you afford (i'm assuming you're going with friends) You figure if it's you and your friends, 2-3 people in a room, you can split the room costs.
